About

Marine promotion are a husband and wife team, who have lived on their beautiful boat for several years.

Having had long careers in the cut flower industry they decided to make some changes in their lives and ‘tiptoed out of the tulips’

Claire is now a bookkeeper and works from the transom of the boat and John is training to become a Yacht and small boat surveyor, having spent several years as a part time agent yacht broker, something that he really enjoyed and worked at evening and weekends, fitted in between delivering flowers to prestigious florists in London

Their flowery lives have been diverse, John was the first supplier of cut flowers to Waitrose, Tesco and M&S in the 80’s moving on to becoming the largest importer of orchids in Europe, whilst Claire was the bookkeeper and administrator for a large, well known flower grower on the South coast.

Latterly they both were involved in organising and promoting large, fund-raising flower festival around the UK. Venues included Hampton Court palace, Salisbury Cathedral, Manchester Cathedral, Guildford Cathedral, Chichester Cathedral and Westminster Abbey. The business was sold in 2014.

Using the skills acquired over many years within the flower trade, they decided to get involved with the marine industry and work with a couple of large brands.

At present they are working with ZAR Mini UK, finding and appointing dealers throughout the UK, to showcase and sell this magnificent range of Italian designed, Inflatable boats, ribs and tenders
